Braeberry Douglas Purebred black Fell Colt
Location(s)
Douglas is solid and strong, capable of anything you'd like him to do when he matures. He's ready to start partnering with you now in the learning process. He has trailered loose and has basic haltering. He's up to date on shots.
His sire is Brough Hill Hadrian's Wall, a lovely, kind stallion who was the cover boy of Horse Illustrated Jan 2005. Hadrian has the extra thick mane and tail of Fells, and also the extra feathering which is straight and fine. His hooves are strong, wearing so evenly that unless you actually lift up the spat to see how long his hoof is, you'd never know he needed a trim!
His dam is Ravenscairn Selkie, a Fell born in Scotland and imported to the States a few years ago. She has very unique bloodlines and though she herself is not a show stopper, she has quality foals. Douglas is the first foal of this cross with a full sibling hopefully coming this year.
Douglas is in Medford, Oregon and a visit can be arranged. Delivery to parts of the Pacific Northwest can be provided.
