Guide to Dating a Horse Owner

Valentines Day has come and gone but I thought this would be nice to share with you!

This is a somewhat humorous but not all together inaccurate guide for dating horse owners.

1) The horses need to be fed may be more important than yours.
2) Our horses have names, learn them.
3) Having horses means someday having a place in the country with acreage. If you are in love with the city you need not apply.
4) It is best you learn how to ride and that you learn to love horses.
5) It is likely that more money will be spent on the horses then what will ever be spent on you.
6) Horses are expensive but they are our pride and joy.
7) They are part of our family.
8) Usually, if you are brining a cowgirl flowers or a cowboy food it is also a good idea to bring the horse something too.
9) Never ever refer to horses as “useless”.
10) The horses were here before you and if you have a problem with them being here then the horses will be still here but you will be gone!
